Summary
For the last 25 years, I actively traded European Government bonds as a market maker and as a Primary dealer mainly at Credit Suisse in London, then in Paris. Over the years, I’ve always been profitable, in a relatively non-volatile way with only 6 months down over the last 7 years. I also set up our interest rate operations in Paris, prepared our French primary dealership application, run the program focusing on profitability and I became in 2009 Vice-President of the SVT market Committee.
Since 2009, I run the EGB desk (10 traders) finding particularly interesting to motivate a group of experienced professionals in a challenging and multi-cultural environment and to control their risks. We had several outstanding years with results more than twice our budget.
I am now looking for a new challenge in Financial Markets in a bank, Hedge fund or asset management company where I can leverage my experience in trading and managing a team.
