We hope you all had a chance to enjoy the long Easter week-end!
We are delighted to launch the 2nd Business Leaders Lab barometer. We invite all alumni to contribute to this research project by answering the questionnaire directly. The Business Leaders Lab, established in 2022 by HEC and the HEC Alumni Association, seeks to identify the opinions and attitudes of HEC graduates towards the significant challenges of our era. The results from these surveys help to enhance the School's curriculum and to develop recommendations for both companies and public policies.

This webinar will help you identify what could be your "to be" list for right now and give you an insight into the power of coaching. We're often stuck in our to-do lists and they can feel neverending and all consuming. Worse, they stop us from making the big changes that we so often want. Luckily, it's not a lot of time that we need, it's simply a different kind of "to do" list. Your "to be" list is so much more powerful than your "to do" list.

While some of us enjoy a lively debate with colleagues and others prefer to suppress our feelings over disagreements, we all struggle with conflict at work. Every day we navigate an office full of competing interests, clashing personalities, limited time and resources, and fragile egos. Sure, we share the same goals as our colleagues, but we don’t always agree on how to achieve them. We work different. We rub each other the wrong way. We jockey for position. But disagreements don’t have to be a source of unhealthy tension. So how can you deal with conflict in a way that is both professional and productive – where it improves both your work and your relationships?

Decision making is key in business and I’m sure all of us can think of someone we’ve worked with who is a terrible manager.
It’s not just about being a nice person - your best friend can be a bad boss. And while being understanding and supportive is pretty important in people management, the psychology of being a good leader goes a bit deeper.
