- Managed successfully the Distribution & Supply Chain category for sanofi worldwide, all business units, with a budget of ~550 m€ and a supplier base of ~2000 suppliers.
Member of the Industrial Procurement Leadership team, of sanofi Supply Chain executive committee and of a supplier Life Science Board.
- Managed an International team of 15 people, performed an organisation restructuring to align with sanofi global procurement organisation, ensured people development.
- Defined Transport and Distribution Strategies in collaboration with global business partners. Implemented strategies at global, regional and country level with business partners.
- Negotiated transportation and warehousing activities to deliver more than 4,5 billion boxes of pharmaceuticals per year. Total savings performance from 10 to 22 m€ per year, reinforced partnership with suppliers through supplier consolidation.
- Contributed to sanofi cash flow improvement by negotiating payment terms and challenging inventory levels. Improvement of weighted average payment terms of around 8-10% / year.
- Led Budget and Strategic plan exercises aligned with sanofi strategy and objectives.
- Digitalised the service with the implementation of a new sourcing tool, of a global automated dashboard and of a benchmark platform for sea freight. As a result, increased procurement efficiency, supplier performance follow up and market intelligence.
