On the occasion of the 300th anniversary of the birth of Madame de Pompadour, we have the great honor to invite you to an event under the joint arms of France and the UK, the "Société des Amis du musée national de Céramique de Sèvres” and the Wallace Collection, art and business!

For Mme de Pompadour truly had the brilliance to appreciate the arts and promote them, displaying a diplomatic tact and a vision, which bears fruits till today with the Manufacture de Sèvres.
Dame Rosalind Savill, CBE, Honorary Director of the Wallace Collection, headed the Wallace Collection from 1992 to 2011. The Wallace is host to some of the finest porcelaines de Sèvres and Dame Savill is one of the most renowned world experts of Porcelaine de Sèvres. She will offer a birthday bouquet to Madame de Pompadour -and to ourselves- bringing the rococo garden indoors with Sèvres flowers, with her unique style and savviness.

The conversation will be hosted jointly by:
- Catherine Trouvet, Doctor in Art History (Paris IV - La Sorbonne), Vice-President of "Les Amis du musée national de Céramique de Sèvres", Member of the CNES (Chambre Nationale des Experts Spécialisés en objet d'art et de collection), and
- Joelle Deroy (H.88) , artist and ceramist, founding member of HEC UK Art
