Almost 2 years after the launch of generative AI models to the public, what are we learning so far? Can AI actually enhance the workplace and to what extent?
Join us for an engaging discussion to learn about some recent findings related to the use of AI in the workplace and human -machines interactions. We will explore generative AI tools and key for deciding when to automate decisions. This session will include some informal conversations to help cut through the noise around AI.

The hybrid event will be followed by a cocktail reception, providing an informal opportunity to engage with the speaker and network with other participants.
About Our Speakers
T. Brad Harris, Ph.D. is the Associate Dean of MBA Programs and a Professor of Management and Human Resources at HEC Paris. His primary research and teaching interests include leadership, team dynamics, and HR systems in rapidly growing organizations. Brad has received multiple teaching awards and was named a top “40 under 40 Business School Professor” by Poets and Quants. He has co-authored two books, Scaling for Success: People Priorities for High-Growth Organizations (Columbia, 2021) and 3D Team Leadership: A New Approach for Complex Teams (Stanford, 2017), and published research papers in leading journals including the Academy of Management Journal, Journal of Applied Psychology, Personnel Psychology, and Journal of Management.
Brad’s work has been cited in leading popular press outlets, including the Wall Street Journal, New York Times, Harvard Business Review, NBC’s The Today Show, Inc.com, and Fast Company. He is a former Associate Editor at the Journal of Organizational Behavior and Human Resource Management, and currently serves on the Editorial Boards of Journal of Applied Psychology, Personnel Psychology, Journal of Management, The Leadership Quarterly, and Journal of Business and Psychology. He earned his Ph.D. in Management from Texas A&M University and maintains a joint appointment at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Brad’s most important role is being a father of three children.
Peter Mathias Fischer is Associate Professor of Marketing at HEC Paris, Affiliate of Hi! PARIS, and the Academic Director of the AI Stream of Creative Destruction Lab Paris—a leading non-profit organization that helps the most promising ventures build massively scalable business. In addition, he is the Academic Director of the AI Specialization of the Executive MBA at HEC Paris. Prior to joining HEC Paris, he was a member of the management board at the Institute for Marketing and Customer Insight at the University of St. Gallen (Switzerland) and co-director of Best Practice in Marketing.
Conducting research at the intersection of strategy, managerial decision-making, international business, (big) data, AI, psychology, and technology with publications in leading academic outlets, Peter has a particularly strong interest in bridging the gap between academia and practice. Passionate about both people and technology, Peter researches, consults, and teaches on how technology and insights may be used to the benefit of humans to have a positive social impact.
For around 15 years, Peter has been training top managers in multiple countries including Brazil, Columbia, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Malaysia, Mexico, Sweden, Switzerland, or the US—and regularly consults companies as well as acts as a keynote speaker. For his work, he was, among others, nominated for the Crédit Suisse Best Teaching Award at the University of St. Gallen and received the Communication Impact Award for his research on the worldwide perception of Switzerland and Swiss products (“Swissness Studies”) being granted to the faculty member with the strongest research impact on public media and society.
