In-Person Art Exhibition @ The Scotch Malt Whisky Society – London
Thursday 14th October 2021 - 6pm
19, Greville Street, London EC1N 8SQ (Farringdon station)
Paired with a Single Malt Whisky tasting experience (optional)
During this art exhibition, Joelle Deroy (H.88), London-based artist and Founder of Driving Change With Art, will present her latest creations, combining painting, photography, and digital art, including her 2 new crypto-art series: "My Best Profile" and "Where It All Happens".
My Best Profile is a series of 24 artworks, joining in pair a traditional artwork (unique print) with an Non Fungible Token (NFT).
Joelle created the "My Best Profile" art collection through digital hand drawings directly from her fingers onto a digital screen, then digitally evolved them to create a crypto art. Her initial inspiration, for each artwork, has been a real encounter with nature, a moment in time captured by a photograph.
As a counterpoint to the many profiles of the Matterhorn mountain, Joelle is also celebrating the many facets of some of the most outstanding whisky distilleries of Scotland, through the art series "Where It All Happens".
Full NFT Collections preview on OpenSea as of October 1st.
On this opening day, the Scotch Malt Whisky Society is offering to join in a Single Malt Whisky Tasting (optional). Joelle will share 3 whiskies of the same character that she has drawn inspiration from.
