Dear HEC Alumni in the UK, We hope you all doing well. In a context of petrol shortage in the UK, we are clearly not having a shortage of energy and initiatives in the office! We are delighted to focus this month on the HEC FOUNDATION ‘Impact tomorrow campaign’ and the fundraising actions taking place in October – this SUNDAY 10 HEC runners are running the Royal Park Half Marathon! And the global competition between countries is open for the MBA giving month. Did you know that last year the UK was the first contributing country outside France! You will even find on campus an engraved list of all of you who gave to the MBA giving month! Please save the date – November will be our ‘GREEN month’, with inspiring events around the sustainability topic, including a global networking event about Green projects and workshops. HEC UK will join the Royal Parks Half Marathon on 10th October! The president of the European Central Bank talked to a hybrid audience of around 10,000 people on September 16th on “Moving forward: the Euro and the European economy in a changing world”. This was followed by a debate that ranged from monetary policy to cryptocurrencies and a woman’s place in the business world.
