As autumn settles in, the HEC UK House has been bustling with excitement. In September and October, we had the privilege of welcoming over 400 talented HEC master’s students, studying finance and strategic management, into our network. It is heartwarming to see how much our alumni community has contributed to their journey. We are deeply grateful to those of you who have stepped up—whether by mentoring, sharing insights, or offering a warm welcome in their offices. Your engagement is invaluable. Many of you frequently ask how you can continue to help, so this month, we’re shining a spotlight on ways to get involved. Your support makes a real difference!
Also, the We&Men HEC Alumni club is looking for experienced and bold women, from the HEC community around the world, working in one of these three sectors: Finance, Industry, and Tech, for the 2025 edition of the Prix Trajectoires. If you are eager to inspire, share, and encourage more women to join these fields, or if you know a woman who embodies these qualities, please apply or encourage her to apply. Deadline is 20th October!
Thank you for your ongoing commitment, and we look forward to connecting with you soon.
Kind regards,
Your HEC in the UK Team
FOCUS OF THE MONTH
Empowering the next HEC Students Generation: how HEC Alumni in London can help make a difference
In September, with the 300 finance students attending their annual finance study trip in London, we saw the remarkable strength of our alumni community, with many of you dedicating their time to meet with students, offer career advice, and welcome them during company visits. Some of you asked us: how can we help more from London? A few ideas below! Please contact us if you’d like to discuss!
Become a Corporate Ambassador
A Corporate Ambassador is an HEC Alumni willing to help HEC Paris build closer ties with his/her company. This means connecting HEC Paris’ talent, expertise, knowledge and network with the relevant contacts and/or carrying out initiatives to support the talent, business and purpose of the company. If you want to learn more about this program, please reach out to Laura.
Host Students for a Company Visit in London and/or Attend Networking Events
Every year, we welcome 800 students to London for learning expeditions. If you work in marketing, finance, consulting, data, strategy or are an entrepreneur, we would be delighted to connect and tell you more about the study trips. During those study trips, we also organise networking events and are always looking for alumni to come and network with the students. Please contact Wendy for more information.
Support the Next Generation of HEC Talents Alumni, we encourage you to share your job opportunities with HEC Paris students by posting them on Handshake, our free career platform. Create a Recruiter account today and showcase your offers. Exclusive opportunities from the HEC community are regularly highlighted—don’t miss out!
Join Our Exclusive DEI Recruitment Initiative
Is your company committed to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion? Become part of the DEI Collective—a free hiring project organized by HEC Talents. Share your job or internship opportunities, and we’ll spotlight them to our diverse student community. Express your interest by email by December 9th, 2024
Have Students Work on a Business Project for Your Company A Business Project is a study with an educational purpose, based on a concrete real-life business case. A team is usually comprised from two to four students in their last year of studies, supervised by an academical advisor and coordinated by a company referent. The projects should address a key issue for the company’s development, calling for an in-depth diagnosis and innovative solutions in one of HEC Paris' fields of expertise. Business Projects also constitute an excellent opportunity to get closer to young talents while benefiting from their fresh perspective and their cutting-edge knowledge. Please click here for more details or contact Sofia FLORES BARRIOS.
Become a School Advisor and Support Students During their Internships
Your mission? Support one or more interns worldwide (estimated workload of 1 hour per intern) to ensure their internship goes well. If you are interested in this project, or if you would like additional information, please complete our form to register.
