About Karen Skehel

For the last 20 years as a Compassion Focused Leadership Coach, Coaching Supervisor, Workshop Facilitator and a developer of Compassion Focused Wellbeing, Karen Skehel has helped hundreds of clients in many different sectors with many leadership and personal challenges.

Karen’s own history with Complex PTSD and the mental health suffering that this generated, inspired Karen to develop an integrated Compassion at Work programme to turn suffering into flourishing.

Karen has many claims to fame in the media: E.g Millions have experienced her work on TV; both on BBC1 and abroad  

Today Karen helps organisations improve productivity & reduce mental health absence with a fully integrated Compassion at Work programme which  includes :

  • The Development of Self Compassion Practices 
  • Engagement in Compassion Focused Wellbeing Sessions
