Amid significant developments surrounding the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), the independent European coalition We Are Europe is launching a major survey to gather the opinions of all the companies concerned, in all their diversity.
The objective: to provide a structured voice for businesses in the ongoing European debates, particularly regarding the expected simplifications of the directive.
The results will be analyzed with researchers from HEC, CBS, LMU, and CERCES, among others, and will be the subject of a report submitted to the European institutions.
Here are the HEC Faculty members involved in the survey:
- Delphine Gibassier, PhD, HEC S&O Institute
- Brian Hill, Research Director, CNRS, HEC Paris Professor, GREGHEC (CNRS-HEC) and Department of Economics and Decision Sciences
- Marieke Huysentrut, HEC S&O Institute
- François Gemenne, HEC Paris Department of Economics and Decision Sciences and Academic Director of the HEC Paris Master in Sustainability and Social Innovation
Why is HEC Transition sharing this survey?
- To give as many companies as possible across the European Union the opportunity to make their points of view heard at a key moment of negotiation.
- To contribute, in association with the HEC faculty, to a constructive and informed debate, based on the reality on the ground.
- To benefit, as a relay, from the consolidated results (European panorama) as soon as they are published.
The online questionnaire takes less than 10 minutes and is available in 24 languages.
It is open to all companies affected by or aware of the CSRD, regardless of their stage of implementation.
It is open from Monday, March 31st to Wednesday, April 30th.
A presentation about the project is attached to this article.
