A solidarity system at the heart of the association
HEC Alumni pursues one of its founding missions: to help each other, with the deployment in 2021 of a « Solidarity Fund », funded by a levy on Infinity Pass membership fees. This system, combining financial aid (loans on honor and allocations) and tailored support, aims to help alumni in momentarily financial difficulties as well as in exceptional circumstances.

Purpose and
philosophy of action
The Solidarity Fund is based on the principle of mutual aid between alumni. Its purpose is to support for a determined period of time, through financial aid or support actions, the comrades facing temporary difficulties in order to allow their return to employment as a priority. It is reserved for alumni who have already been contributors.
The Fund does not provide social aid in this context and its assistance cannot be paid to third parties.
It has three main means of action:
The attribution of loans on honour
These loans are subject to a contractual commitment and a realistic repayment schedule;
The allocation of subsidies
These grants cover the cost of the association's services (access to seminars or other actions);
Tailored individual support
This tailor-made support is decided by the members of the Commission and is supported by the members of the HEC network.
Funding
The Solidarity Fund is replenished by an annual levy on Infinity Pass subscription revenues (up to a limit of 5% of annual revenues).
Governance
A Solidarity Fund Commission is set up to steer the aid scheme. It meets once a month. Its members decide to allocate the aid concerned in a collegial manner, based on the documents provided by the alumni, the presumption of good faith and according to the criteria and procedures defined beforehand. The Commission reports on the actions taken to the Committee once a year and at the General Assembly.
