The HEC UK Blockchain club is delighted to invite you to their first webinar:

Blockchain: myths, challenges and ambitions of a decentralised paradigm

Wednesday 15th June, 5pm (UK Time) / 6pm (Paris Time)

Online

The promise of the decentralisation of the Blockchain has been much debated, starting from why it matters. But the genuine assessment of whether Blockchain meets its decentralisation ambitions still fuel some passionate discussions.

The panel composed of professionals from the infrastructure and DeFi worlds will aim to address the multiple aspects of decentralisation inherent to the technology. It will also cover the myths and flaws with respect to the implementation of a decentralised paradigm, while sharing its vision on how the technology could fulfil its ambitions.

About the panelists:

Greg Scullard

Greg is currently "Executive Director Europe - Developer Advocacy at SwirldsLabs" and continues to work with developers building on Hedera Hashgraph, the only authorized ledger using the Hashgraph technology.

Since owning his first computer in 1981, Greg has never stopped developing software. His grandmother was very proud when his name appeared on the front cover of a computer magazine at just age 12.

Prior to joining Hedera Hashgraph as a Lead Developer Advocate, Greg spent nearly three decades working for small, medium and large software development businesses in many different roles. He was on a path to an executive career until developing two mobile apps in his own time made him realize that it was software development and working with software developers that motivated him to do great things. Hedera came along just at the right time.
