Legion 44 by Leila Conners I Film Premiere in Paris
The documentary film Legion 44 will have its premiere screening in Paris on the sidelines of ChangeNow, with director Leila Conners in attendance on Thursday, April 24 at 7:30 p.m.
Legion 44 is the first film ever made about CDR (Carbon Dioxide Removal) technology. It is directed by Leila Conners, one of the biggest international stars in environmental documentaries, known for The 11th Hour and Ice on Fire starring Leonardo DiCaprio, which premiered at Cannes. Both films are distributed by Warner Bros. and HBO.
Legion 44, narrated by Walton Goggins (White Lotus, Fallout, Django Unchained, etc.), has already enjoyed a successful run, featuring at Climate Week in New York City, Stanford, Cinema for Peace in Berlin, Singapore Fintech Week, Climate Week in Oman, MIT, Columbia, UPenn, and more.
Presented by our colleague Fanny Ostojic (H18), and attended by numerous students from the HEC MAC and SASI programs, the screening will be preceded by a discussion between Leila Conners and Fernando Dias-Lopez, Executive Director of the HEC S&O Climate and Earth Center.
