KITE & WING HECUP 2025, DAKHLA MOROCCO The International Development Club, the Sport Business Club, the MOROCCO Chapter and the Sailing Club of the HEC Alumni Association are pleased to inform you of the invitation to take part in the “First KITE & Wing HECUP in Dakhla Morocco”, which will be held from Wednesday 7 May to Monday 12 May 2025! Dakhla is a paradise for water sports enthusiasts, combining nature, adventure and sport in a unique setting for sailing or learning to kitesurf and wingfoil, just 4 hours 30 minutes from Paris. Sporting and immersive activities such as kitesurfing and wingfoiling encourage teamwork, mutual support and moments of sharing between alumni, of all ages, levels of experience and professional backgrounds, to strengthen their links in a relaxed and friendly setting. An event such as the “First KITE & Wing HECUP in Dakhla Morocco”, encourages natural and informal exchanges between alumni, far from traditional settings such as conferences or dinners, and could lead to professional collaborations or joint projects.  Join us and discover the Dakhla lagoon and its oasis of greenery, located between the desert and the ocean!  Thanks to its exceptional natural setting and conditions, the Dakhla lagoon with its calm, shallow waters is ideal for beginners wishing to learn in complete safety, but also for freestyle enthusiasts. Dakhla enjoys constant winds almost all year round, with moderate to strong winds ideal for kitesurfing. This makes it a great destination for beginners and experts alike. The chosen period corresponds to the high season and will ensure ideal wind conditions for kitesurfing and wingfoiling.With pleasant temperatures all year round, Dakhla is a great place for kite surfing and Wingfoil all year round, attracting water sports enthusiasts from all over the world.  Between desert and ocean, Dakhla offers a spectacular backdrop: the dunes, turquoise waters and sunsets make for a memorable experience. The town hosts many international events, such as kitesurfing and wingfoil competitions, and major investments on an African scale are transforming this region of southern Morocco into a veritable tourist, port and commercial hub for the region's inhabitants. Our hotel is ideally located on the lagoon, with panoramic views of the lagoon and Dragon Island. Each bungalow is 42 m2 and has a queen-size bed, two sofa beds, a flat-screen TV and a large, fully equipped private bathroom with separate WC and shower. The formula is exclusively VIP and ALL INCLUSIVE, with full board, excursions, transfers and drinks (alcoholic & soft) included.  For Kite and Wingfoil enthusiasts, the hotel is a paradise with one of the finest sailing huts on the Dakhla Lagoon in terms of equipment, supervision and teaching. The hotel has the best Kite and Wingfoil equipment with partner brand DUO TONE.Participants will have the option of signing up for a downwind course reserved for intermediate to experienced riders, which will take us from our hotel to the Dune Blanche (around 2 hours) to experience the thrills of 13 km of pure adrenaline, accompanied by coaches and instructors from the Kite School. Finally, a Private Evening in the Dunes of Dakhla offers participants the chance to experience an unforgettable night to the rhythms of Sahraoui and Gnawa music and dine on delicious gourmet tajines in the middle of the desert. For Business, a tour of the economic facilities and meetings with the community of Dakhla and the CFCIM are planned to enable our participants to gauge the remarkable dynamics of economic development in the Southern Moroccan region of Dakhla-Oued Eddahab, which is working to promote the Region's economic potential as an African hub and to foster international cooperation.Please register quickly to receive the order form to sign and reserve your room before 28 February.The booking deadline allows us to block rooms free of charge.
