Sustainability & European companies (CSRD) : a new competitive advantage or a bureaucratic burden ?
Sustainability & European companies : a new competitive advantage or a bureaucratic burden ?
To foster this debate, discover the results of the first major CSRD survey based on 2 000 companies answers, analysed by researchers from HEC, CBS, LMU, and CERCES; an initiative of WeAreEurope, a newly established non-profit.
The results will be commented by François Gemenne, HEC Paris Department of Economics and Decision Sciences, Academic Director of the HEC Paris Master in Sustainability and Social Innovation. He will debate with corporate leaders such as Elodie Le Breton, Sustainable Strategy Director at GA Smart Building and Mael Aoustin, CEO of Uxco, a Brookfield Portfolio Company.
They will bring their views and insights about the current lively debate in Brussels about reforming the Green Deal with votes due on CSRD and CS3D by october 2025
Ludovic Flandin (H02) will moderate the debate. He is the CSR Director at R3 and one of the founders of WeAreEurope, a new NGO that launched the survey and other initiatives around the defence of the European economic model.
