Join a fun and interactive workshop to better understand how climate change works and why it is the challenge of the 21st century!
Faced with the climate emergency, we believe that everyone needs to be trained on the basics of climate science, in order to understand the situation, collectively accept the structural changes that need to be made, and start taking effective action. Climate Fresk is an empowering tool for everybody concerned with climate change and willing to raise awareness in their entourage.
Climate Fresk: The game to understand climate change
This 3-hour session will be organized in French
21 May 2024
at HEC Alumni Association
9 avenue Franklin D Roosevelt 75008 Paris
from 7pm to 10pm
About the workshop
Climate Fresk is a serious game where participants, guided by a facilitator, use their collective intelligence to build a collage and link the causes and consequences of climate change using 42 cards that represent the different dimensions of climate change.
Participants gather in teams of 4 to 8. They discover 42 cards representing the different components of climate change and collaboratively work to identify cause and effect relationships, under the supervision of a trained facilitator to guide them, provide additional insights and ensure smooth communication.
- REASONING: Discovering and linking the cards and creating the collage
- CREATIVITY: Relaxing, taking ownership of the collage and decorating it
- DEBRIEF: A calm discussion on the participant's emotions and questions to finally brainstorm overt the individual and collective solution
Our objective
Reach at least 1,000 alumni in 12 months; we will then aim higher and seek to build a team capable of training a significant part of the 70,000 alumni of HEC Paris in the next three years!
Since 2019, 525,000 people have participated in the Climate Fresk, in France and around the world. Today, 35 alumni are already trained in fresk facilitation and are ready to mobilize to lead this series of events. The team of facilitators will be led by Antoine Rabain, co-president of HEC Transition, and above all, one of the most active historical "freskers". With more than 250 workshops to his credit, he has met with more than 6,000 participants, within companies and executive commitees.
Whether you are a "know-it-all" on one or several themes related to the climate issue or a total neophyte, the Climate Fresk is a game that adapts to all types of audiences, and its value lies in the exchanges rather than the basic knowledge you will arrive with.
