Join us for a special evening with fellow HEC alumna Maria Morozova-Duthoit as we celebrate the release of her book, The Work Smarter Guide to Sales, published by Hachette Group, one of the world’s leading publishers. This is not just another book on sales—it’s an interactive guide presented as a 5-week program, combining Maria’s expertise in sales, client service, and coaching. In the five months since its release, the book has already sold over 1,600 copies, a significant and promising achievement for any publication.
The event will feature an interview with Maria, followed by a Q&A session, where we’ll dive into not only the world of sales but also the process of writing a book based on professional expertise. As we raise a glass to this milestone, we’ll also reflect on the unexpected and exciting turns that life after business school can take—such as the decision to embark on new ventures like writing a book. This is not just a networking event, but a celebration of bold initiatives and shared experiences.

About Our Speaker
Maria Morozova-Duthoit brings a blend of sales expertise and marketing wisdom honed over two decades of leadership in deal-making and client relationships. During nearly a decade at Google, Maria led international advertising sales teams working with the company’s largest clients, driving exponential growth across multi-million-dollar accounts and fostering long-lasting client partnerships. Before transitioning to the tech industry, she led customer service teams at top advertising agencies like Leo Burnett, McCann Erickson, and BBDO, where she helped world-famous brands achieve new levels of success.
Now, as Managing Partner at Catalyst Consulting, Maria focuses on consulting, sales training, and executive coaching, specializing in building high-performance teams and driving commercial results. Her first book, The Work Smarter Guide to Sales, was published in June 2024, achieving significant success. Currently, Maria is working on her second book, dedicated to people management, which is set to be published at the end of 2025.
