Companionship for a purposeful career
3 months, get involved in an ambitious two-way mentoring programme via an alumnus-student pairing.
This course helps participants acquire the necessary self-knowledge, communication and leadership skills to make more conscious and purposeful choices. It relies on the practice of “companionship”, a form of reciprocal accompaniment — different from mentorship — you will experience by being paired up with a student during three months. Alumni from all sectors with at least 5 years' professional experience and who share the spirit of the programme, i.e., having a sincere aspiration to progress on your ability to make meaningful choices in order to build a purposeful career, and ready to invest in it.

Parcours engagement
Over the period of an academic year, become the tutor of a group of 15 students throughout their L3 commitment course.
The Parcours Engagement (programme in French only) is the backbone of the curriculum for first-year students. Each academic tutor supervises a group of c. 15 students throughout the year, providing collective and individual support, helping students to review and analyse their experiences, and to progress along the path of their reflection on their career as well as on an issue linked to organisations and management. Alumni (all ages, all backgrounds) with a keen interest in education, and for the themes of meaning, leadership and organisations in general, and able to talk about their own choices and support young people in their professional and intellectual development. Coach training or experience is a plus.

Mentoring of MSc in International Finance and Master in Management/Grand Ecole Finance Major students
Over the course of an academic year, provide effective support for students in their professional development, choice of placement, preparation for interviews, etc.
Since 2016, Professor Petra has matched, on a yearly basis, current MIF and Majeure Finance students with MIF/Majeure Finance alumni who graduated 2 years before. Current students are given the opportunity to choose which mentor they would like to have based on several criteria (e.g. current employer, function, initial school, nationality, place of work…). To mitigate the potential supply/demand imbalance, students are asked to choose 10 mentors by order of preference. On average, per year, 160-170 students are matched with 80-100 mentors.
