The HEC Wine Club UK is delighted to invite you to an exclusive wine tasting and food pairing hosted at Wun's Tea Room and Bar in Soho: HEC UK Wine Club - Chinese Food and Wine PairingWednesday 25th May - 7.30pm Wun's Tea Room and Bar - 23 Greek St, London W1D 4DZ (Soho)Limited availability - ONLY 50 ticketsThis event will take place at Wun's Tea Room & Bar, an innovative restaurant with a vintage Hong Kong-style serving Asian sharing dishes. During this original wine tasting, you will pair exquisite Chinese wines from the Treaty Port Vineyards in the Shandong peninsula with delicious Cantonese small plates:The Inspector General – Bordeaux blendThe Prince – Petit Verdot/Arinarnoa - Gold Medal RedThe Manchu Bride – MuscatThe Lady of Fashion –Viognier/Chardonnay - Bronze Medal WhiteThe Debutante – Grenache Noir roseThe Philosopher – Gently oaked Syrah as selected by Brooke’s Dining Club View Wun's Tea Room and Bar's sample menu here About Treaty Port VineyardsChris Ruffle first planted vines on the granite, South-facing slopes of Qiushan in 2005. There are now 9 red varietals planted in the 19 hectare vineyard (Marselan, Petit Verdot, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Grenache Noir, Syrah, Arinarnoa and Sangiovese) and 3 white varietals (Viognier, Muscat and Chardonnay). All vines were imported from France.Treaty Port house wine is the Castle Red, made each harvest from a blend of the red varietals, and the Debutante, a Grenache-based rose.
